Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Scope and Applicability

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs the use of all hosting services, cloud infrastructure, and technical support (“Services”) provided by World Wideconsulting SL. This Policy applies to the "Customer" (the person or entity purchasing the Services) and any "End Users" (anyone who accesses the services via the Customer).

2. Permitted Use and Prohibited Activities

You may use our Services only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from using our infrastructure for:

  • System Abuse: Attempting to circumvent user authentication or security of any host, network, or account.

  • Resource Exhaustion: Activities that degrade the performance of our servers for other users, including excessive CPU/RAM usage or "unlimited" file storage for non-web-related data.

  • Cryptocurrency Mining: Unauthorized mining of BitCoin or other cryptocurrencies.

  • Mail/Spam: Sending unsolicited bulk emails (SPAM), hosting open mail relays, or hosting sites that are advertised via SPAM (spamvertised).

  • High-Risk Use: Use in environments where service interruption could lead to physical harm or property damage.

3. Content Standards

You may not host, link to, or transmit any content that:

  • Infringes on any third-party intellectual property, including copyright, patents, or trademarks.

  • Is defamatory, obscene, deceptive, or promotes illegal activities.

  • Contains malicious code, including viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or time bombs.

4. Legal Compliance and Global Sanctions

All Users must comply with applicable local and international laws. We specifically prohibit the use of our Services by any person or entity that is:

  1. Located in a country subject to a government embargo.

  2. Listed on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

  3. Involved in the distribution of materials that violate international human rights or child protection laws.

5. Third-Party and Sub-User Liability

If you provide services to third parties (e.g., as a reseller), you are the primary point of responsibility.

  • You must maintain a policy with your users that is at least as restrictive as this one.

  • Any violation of this AUP by your customers or sub-users will be considered a violation by you.

  • You agree to indemnify World Wideconsulting SL against any claims resulting from your sub-users’ activities.

6. Security and Misuse Prevention

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own applications (e.g., keeping WordPress or CMS plugins updated). Failure to patch known vulnerabilities that lead to the compromise of our network is considered a breach of this policy. We reserve the right to audit your data for security purposes.

7. Monitoring, Enforcement, and Termination

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation of this Policy. To protect our network and other customers, we may:

  • Suspend or Terminate: Immediately disable your account without refund if a material breach occurs.

  • Data Removal: Delete any content that violates this policy without prior notice.

  • Reporting: Report illegal activities to law enforcement and cooperate fully with their investigations.
